Key takeaways
SEO texts pay off when they answer a question people really search for. That takes a short answer at the start, clean headings, numbers with a source and your own expertise. Stuffing keywords does not help. No text can guarantee a ranking, and anyone who promises one promises too much.
One text answers one question, and the answer comes first
Headings, tables and an FAQ make a text readable for people and for AI search
Numbers carry a source, and statements about your business are confirmed by you
At Nexene, new posts are part of ongoing SEO and GEO work and have at least 800 words
What makes an SEO text
An SEO text is written for one specific search question and answers that question clearly. The keyword is the reason for the text, not its content. Whoever types "seo texte" or "seo content agentur" into Google wants to know what a text has to do and who can write it.
Four things make such a text. First, one question per page. A text that covers three topics halfway answers none of them properly. Second, a clear answer that comes early, so readers and search systems find it straight away. Third, a structure: headings that name the sections, short paragraphs and, where it fits, a table. Fourth, evidence: numbers and statements with a source.
Stuffing keywords is not part of it. A term that appears in every second sentence reads badly and does not answer the question any better. The main keyword sits in the heading and appears in the text the way you would say it in conversation. Related terms follow from the topic.
A single text is only one part of search engine optimization. How texts fit into the bigger picture is explained on our page about search engine optimization.
How SEO texts are built for AI search
AI assistants such as ChatGPT and the AI answers in Google Search draw on texts that are easy to read out. We call this GEO or AEO: preparing content so it can be found, understood and cited. For its AI features, Google names no additional requirements. A page has to be indexed, allowed to appear with a snippet and offer its important content as text.
In practice this means: the short answer comes first, directly under the heading, in a few sentences. The reasoning follows. An FAQ at the end answers the questions readers ask next, and only questions the text really answers. Numbers stand in the text with their source, so anyone can check them. A table suits comparisons.
Whether single building blocks such as a short answer or a table measurably increase citations has not been shown by an independent study we know of. For readers they make a text quicker to scan, which is why we use them. More on this is on our page about GEO and AEO optimization.
How we create posts at Nexene
At Nexene, a post is a guide, a blog article or a new page created for SEO and GEO. Every post has at least 800 words.
The topics come from Google Search Console data. There we see what people search for, for which terms your site already appears and where an answer is still missing. From that we decide whether a guide, a blog article or a new page is the right form for the topic.
How many new posts you get depends on the level of our ongoing SEO and GEO work:
| Package | New SEO posts per month | Minimum length |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | 2 | 800 words |
| Level 2 | 4 | 800 words |
| Level 3 | 6 | 800 words |
The posts are part of our ongoing SEO and GEO work, which also includes a monthly report. What is included in detail is explained in the guide What is included in SEO support. What SEO costs is covered in the guide What does SEO cost in Austria.
How your expertise gets into the text
We cannot write a good text about your offer from the internet alone. Your expertise makes the difference: how does a job run at your company, which questions do customers ask again and again, what applies in your industry?
We gather that knowledge in exchange with you and write the draft. You read the post before it goes online and approve it. Statements about your company, your services and your numbers only go into the text if you can confirm them as they stand. What you cannot confirm, we remove.
This protects you from statements you do not stand behind. It also gives the text something other pages on the topic often lack: real experience from your daily work.
How to recognize good SEO texts
You do not need to be an SEO expert to judge a text. These questions help, whether the text comes from an agency, a freelance writer or from yourself:
The text answers a question that is stated in its title.
The answer stands right at the start.
Headings name what the section is about.
Numbers and facts have a source or come from you.
The keyword reads naturally and is not repeated constantly.
The text says something that is missing on other pages on the topic, such as your experience.
Author and date are visible.
You can stand behind every sentence.
If several of these points are missing, a revision is worth more than ordering more texts.
What SEO texts do not do
An SEO text cannot guarantee a ranking. Rankings depend on many factors nobody controls, Google included. Anyone who promises you position 1 promises more than they can keep.
Texts alone are not enough either. If your website has technical problems, Google and AI assistants read it badly, however good the text is. That is why technology, content and structure belong together with us. The SEO audit shows where you stand. SEO takes time, and we make no promise of position 1.
