SEO support: what is included and what is not?

Every SEO support plan starts with a setup. It is done once and lays the groundwork for everything that happens each month afterwards. The SEO audit comes first. It shows how many technical fixes your website needs, and the price of the setup depends on that.

The setup covers the following:

• Audit: We check the technology, content and structure of your website.

• Technical fixes: We fix what the audit finds. These fixes are only included in the setup.

• Strategy: We decide which topics and questions your articles are written for.

• Google Business Profile: We set it up or tidy it up if your offer has a local focus.

• Directory listings: We list you in suitable directories.

If your website has to be rebuilt completely anyway and you sign a contract for 12 months, the new website can be part of the setup. This only applies to small websites: a home page plus at most three subpages with the same design, plus contact, imprint and privacy policy, without external integrations and without custom-programmed features.

After the setup, the support follows a fixed monthly routine. Three things happen every month: new articles are written, existing content is reworked depending on the tier, and you receive a report.

An article is a guide, a blog post or any other page that is newly created for SEO and GEO. Every article has at least 800 words. It answers a question your customers really ask and is structured so that search engines and AI search can classify it well.

The report arrives once a month in every tier. It contains data from Google Search Console and a list of link opportunities, meaning places where a listing or mention of your website would make sense. In tier 1 this is a short list, in tiers 2 and 3 a concrete list with priorities.

SEO and GEO belong together because they depend on each other. That is why you can only get both as one package. How GEO works is explained on the GEO and AEO page. The full service is described on the search engine optimization page.

The table compares the three tiers. All prices are net.

Support has limits. You should know them upfront so there are no surprises later.

• Technical fixes after the setup: They are only included in the setup and are not part of the monthly support.

• Ads: Google Ads and Meta Ads are separate services.

• A website rebuild: It is only possible within the setup, for a small website and a contract of 12 months.

• Guaranteed rankings: Nobody can promise position 1. Anyone who does promises something they do not control.

• Guaranteed links: We deliver work packages such as listings, mentions and outreach requests, but no promised number of editorial backlinks.

• Bought links: We do not do that.

SEO takes time. There is no promise of a specific result, only work you can follow in the report every month.

When you compare offers, these questions help.

• Is there a report with real data? A good report uses data from Google Search Console, meaning impressions, clicks and search terms of your website. A list of completed tasks alone is not enough.

• Is the number of articles fixed? You should know upfront how many new articles are written per month and how long they are at least. "We take care of everything" is not a service.

• Is the rank-one guarantee missing? Then that is a good sign. Serious providers do not promise a ranking.

The minimum term is 6 months, in all three tiers. After that you can cancel monthly. Payment is monthly. If you pay for the whole year in advance, you get an additional 10% discount on the monthly amounts. There is no such discount on the setup.

With a contract of 12 months you get 50% off the setup. It then costs at most €1,495 net. This does not apply if the new website is part of the setup. Without the discount, the setup costs up to €2,990 net, depending on the audit.
